Monsieur Vo

From the team behind Madame Vo comes Monsieur Vo, a modern Vietnamese gastropub in the heart of the East Village. Turning towards Vietnamese fathers, uncles, and grandfathers, this restaurant concept is all about togetherness. It spotlights Vietnam's "ăn nhậu" culture–the beloved tradition of celebrating and bonding over food.

Continuing our partnership with the husband-wife restaurant duo, we created an identity paralleling its sister restaurant with a darker, moodier tone. Maintaining the same stylistic “Vo,” “Monsieur” takes on a more expressive decadent typeface. Orange becomes mystical midnight blue, transitioning towards the restaurant’s nightly dinner fare. Our robustly eclectic identity speaks to the coalescence of cultures–two languages and two countries simmering together under one same roof.
