For those who can’t decide where to dine, Washington Hall has it all. This locus of fine fare is a feast for the senses. Boasting a range of bites from masala dosas to Chicago-style hot dogs, the artisanal food hall offers a one-of-a-kind dining experience for locals and anyone just passing through.

To reintroduce the famous food hall with a fresh face, we designed a brand new identity from the top down. Our logo nods to the industrial cityscapes of Chicago, with a monochromatic color palette inspired by the city’s bourgeois subway Brown Line. Enlivened with bold, homespun typography, our work distinguishes Washington Hall as the ultimate urban eatery filled with creativity and tons of personality.

Where the identity of a food hall might get swallowed up by the presence of its buzzing local purveyors, Washington Hall stands proudly with unforgettable branding reflective of everyone’s favorite toddling town.
